Ashford's panto this Christmas is Jack and the Beanstalk at Brake Hall, Ashford School: adults £19, children and OAPs £17, family £70, relaxed show 2 January.

Ashford’s professional pantomime this Christmas is Jack and the Beanstalk, from Blue Phoenix Productions at Brake Hall, in the grounds of Ashford School on East Hill, TN24 8PB. Tickets are £19 for adults, £17 for children and OAPs and £70 for a family of two adults and two children, plus a booking fee on each transaction. A relaxed performance is set for 10am on Saturday 2 January 2027.

Is the Ashford panto on this year?

Yes. The company’s own site, ashfordpantomime.co.uk, now leads with “Ashford’s Spectacular Family Pantomime: Jack and the Beanstalk”, its cast page introduces the 2026 company, and its booking page has the prices and the relaxed performance. Last season’s show was Sleeping Beauty. The past productions on the company’s home page go back to Jack and the Beanstalk in 2019/20, so this year’s title is a return to the earliest show it lists.

Do not confuse it with the Ashford Theatre Society, a separate amateur company with its own productions.

Tickets and prices

Ticket Price
Adult £19
Child or OAP £17
Family (2 adults, 2 children) £70

A booking fee applies per transaction. Tickets are sold online through the company’s TicketSource page, by phone on the box office line, 01233 367399, or on TicketSource’s booking line, 03336 663366, which adds a £2 telephone service fee. Groups such as Scouts, Brownies and OAP clubs are asked to ring 01233 367399 or email boxoffice@ashfordpantomime.co.uk.

The company’s terms say every member of the audience needs a ticket for the date and time they attend, and must be able to show ID for a concession if asked.

Performance dates and times

The run dates and show times are not printed on the company’s own website. They sit on its TicketSource booking page, which would not load for our checks on 7 October (the ticketing site puts automated visitors through a security check). The one date the company has published in writing is the relaxed performance on Saturday 2 January, which tells you the run goes into the new year. Ring 01233 367399 or use the “Book now” link on ashfordpantomime.co.uk to see the full list; we will add it here once we have read it from the organiser.

The relaxed performance, Saturday 2 January

Blue Phoenix is running a relaxed performance at 10am on Saturday 2 January 2027 with Includes Us Too, booked separately through Includes Us Too’s ticket page, which gives the time as 10am to 1pm. It is the full pantomime with adjustments for children and young people with SEND: lower sound, house lights left partly on, freedom to get up and move around, quiet areas outside the auditorium and a deliberately reduced audience. Cast members introduce themselves before the show, and a social story will be sent to bookers nearer the time.

One thing to know before booking: because capacity is cut on purpose, there are no free carer tickets for this performance, and everyone attending needs a ticket. Includes Us Too asks families who could not otherwise come to contact it in confidence, with limited support possible but not guaranteed.

Who is in it

From the company’s cast page:

  • Paul Ketley, director, plays Dame Dolly Trott. The company says it is his 30th professional pantomime.
  • Rob Hancox, co-director, plays Fleshcreep. He was Carabosse in last year’s Sleeping Beauty.
  • Holly Harvey, choreographer, plays Jill, after the title roles in Cinderella and Snow White here.
  • Omar Gawd is Jack Trott.
  • Charley Byrne is Silly Billy, back after playing Jingles the Jester last year.
  • Callum Rumsey is Daisy the Cow.

Getting there and parking

The company’s getting here page gives the venue as Brake Hall, East Hill, Ashford TN24 8PB, in the grounds of Ashford School, and says:

  • There is free parking on site: follow the “Pantomime Parking” signs.
  • The council car parks at Flour Mills (TN24 8PA) and Vicarage Lane (TN23 1NJ) are both about two minutes’ walk away. Both charge 8am to 6pm, so they are free for an evening show; Flour Mills is also free on Sundays and bank holidays. Details on our parking in Ashford page.
  • By train, the hall is about ten minutes’ walk from Ashford International. The nearest bus stops are on Station Road, Mace Lane and at the station.

Council parking charges are due to rise from 1 February 2027, after the pantomime season, under the revised tariff plan, which drops the proposed £2 overnight charge. Check roadworks and travel before you set off, and our Christmas train times page if you are coming by rail over the holidays.
